Upload MOBI Ebooks and Share Them via Link
MOBI is the Kindle-era format a generation of ebooks shipped in. Authors and readers still need to move these files around.
Upload MOBI nowMOBI (and its successor AZW3) powered the Kindle ecosystem for fifteen years. Amazon now prefers EPUB for send-to-device, but enormous back catalogs, author archives, and personal libraries remain in MOBI. Authors distributing review copies, publishers migrating catalogs, and readers organizing their own purchased libraries all need the same thing: a way to move the file that doesn't involve a specific vendor's pipeline.

Frequently asked questions
Can readers still get MOBI onto a Kindle?
Modern Kindles prefer EPUB via Send-to-Kindle (which no longer accepts MOBI). Readers can convert MOBI→EPUB in Calibre in seconds, or sideload AZW3 via USB. For new distribution, EPUB is the friendlier format — we host that too.
MOBI vs EPUB for distributing my book?
EPUB, in 2026 — every platform including Amazon accepts it. Offer MOBI alongside only if your audience includes very old Kindle devices. A Bulk Foldr can carry both formats plus a PDF behind one link.
What about DRM?
Files are hosted as-is. DRM-free files (yours to distribute) stay DRM-free; don't distribute other people's DRM-protected purchases.
Can I sell books this way?
Foldr is the delivery half — pair with Gumroad/Stripe for payment, then send the link. Permanent Pro links let buyers re-download.
