By using Foldr.Space, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Foldr.Space is a file sharing service that allows you to upload and share files up to 2GB in size. We offer both free and paid (Pro) tiers with different features and storage options.

Free Tier: Files are automatically deleted after 7-90 days.

Pro Tier: Includes permanent storage, password protection, client-side encryption, and additional features.

Permitted Uses: You may upload and share files for legitimate personal, educational, or business purposes.

Prohibited Content: You may not upload:

• Illegal content or files that violate laws
• Copyrighted material without permission
• Malware, viruses, or harmful software
• Content that violates others' privacy
• Spam or unwanted commercial content
• Adult, sexually explicit, or inappropriate content
• Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content
• Counterfeit goods or products
• Content promoting dangerous or harmful activities

You are solely responsible for content you upload. By uploading files to Foldr.Space, you represent and warrant that:

• You own all rights to the content or have explicit permission from the rights holder to share it
• The content does not violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights in any jurisdiction
• The content does not infringe on intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
• The content complies with all policies listed in these Terms of Service
• You will not use our service to distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or any harmful software
• You will not upload content that is illegal, pornographic, obscene, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or harassing
• You will not upload content that exploits or harms minors in any way
• You will not use our service for phishing, fraud, scams, or any deceptive practices
• You will not attempt to bypass our security measures, rate limits, or access controls

Bulk Uploads & Foldr Spaces - Additional Requirements: If you use bulk uploads or Foldr Spaces, you also agree that:

• Storage Limits: You will not exceed your allocated storage quota for Foldr Spaces
• Content Compliance: All files uploaded must comply with our content policies listed above
• No Malware Distribution: You may NOT use our service to distribute malware, viruses, or malicious software
• No Abuse: You may NOT use automated tools to spam uploads or abuse our service
• Legitimate Use: Files must be for legitimate personal or business use and not for illegal activities
• Bandwidth Fair Use: Excessive bandwidth usage may result in temporary suspension while we investigate

Consequences of Violations:

• Content that violates these terms will be immediately removed without prior notice
• Your IP address may be permanently blocked from our service for serious or repeated violations
• We reserve the right to report serious violations (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.) to law enforcement authorities
• You may be held liable for any damages, legal fees, or costs incurred as a result of your violations
• No refunds will be provided for paid services if your account is terminated due to policy violations

Abuse Reporting: If you discover content on our platform that violates these policies, please report it immediately using our abuse reporting system or by emailing hello@foldr.space with the subject "Content Violation Report".

Third-Party Advertising: Our service displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense.

Ad Content: We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Advertisers are solely responsible for their ad content.

Ad Interaction: Clicking on advertisements may redirect you to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites.

Size Limit: Maximum file size is 2GB per upload.

Storage Duration: Free files are automatically deleted after 7-90 days. Pro users have permanent storage.

Rate Limits: Upload limits apply to prevent abuse (10 files per hour, 50 per day per IP for free users).

If you enable client-side encryption (Pro feature), you acknowledge and agree:

• Password Responsibility: You are solely responsible for remembering your encryption password
• No Recovery: If you lose your encryption password, we cannot recover your files under any circumstances
• Key Management: The encryption key is derived from your password and never transmitted to our servers
• Local Processing: Encryption and decryption happen entirely in your browser
• No Liability: We are not liable for data loss resulting from forgotten encryption passwords

Foldr.Space is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for:

• Loss of uploaded files
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Content of uploaded files
• Misuse of shared links
• Data loss from forgotten client-side encryption passwords
• Third-party access to files shared via public links

We Actively Monitor and Enforce:

• Automated Security Scanning: Files are subject to automated security checks to detect malware, viruses, and harmful software
• File Type Validation: We verify file types using magic byte analysis to prevent extension spoofing
• User Reporting System: We provide tools for users to report inappropriate, illegal, or policy-violating content
• Content Removal: Files violating our policies will be removed immediately without prior notice
• IP Blocking: IP addresses associated with policy violations or abuse will be restricted from accessing our service
• DMCA Compliance: We respond promptly to valid copyright takedown requests

File Type Restrictions: For security and policy compliance, we block files with mismatched extensions that could indicate malicious intent. This protects all users of our platform.

Repeat Offenders: Users or IP addresses with repeated policy violations will be permanently banned from our service and may be reported to relevant authorities.

By using our service, you explicitly agree to:

• Only upload content you have the legal right to share
• Not use our service for any illegal activities
• Not attempt to bypass our security measures or rate limits
• Not upload content that could harm other users or their devices
• Report any inappropriate content you encounter
• Accept that we may review files if abuse is reported
• Maintain the security of your encryption passwords (if using client-side encryption)

We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and legal authorities. We will preserve and provide file data, IP addresses, and usage logs when legally required by:

• Valid court orders or subpoenas
• Law enforcement investigations
• Child safety investigations
• National security matters

Note on Client-Side Encryption: For files encrypted using client-side encryption, we can only provide the encrypted file data. We cannot decrypt these files as we do not have access to the encryption key.

We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content without notice if it violates our policies
• Suspend or terminate access for any user violating these terms
• Block IP addresses or ranges associated with abuse
• Refuse service to anyone for any reason
• Modify or discontinue the service at any time
